Blog: Throwing Down Tracks

When I started training other producers, I found that there were many lessons to be learnt from the day-to-day happenings at work, so I started summarising some of the thoughts in my blog Throwing Down Tracks.

The aim was not to write a manual, but to collate some thought-starters for anyone who is interested in evaluating various aspects of production — what makes one way of doing something better than another, or what points are important to consider in a particular situation.

I hope both producers and people working with producers find it interesting and useful.
